What are Team Florida Trade Missions? Strategic initiatives for Florida companies, led by the Governor or other senior state elected officials, targeting key markets of specific opportunities to Florida. High level meetings are held to promote Florida's economic advantages, generate trade and reverse investment and develop linkages in the target markets.

Previous Team Florida Trade Missions have targeted the following markets: Mexico, Brazil, Israel, South Africa, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, the United Kingdom, Spain, Dominican Republic, Central America, Colombia and Canada.

Why should you participate in a Team Florida Trade Mission? Enterprise Florida partners with the U.S. Embassy and the U.S. Commercial Service in the host country to develop a program tailor fitted for Florida exporters. One-on-one business appointments are pre-arranged for our Florida participants with potential prospects. Enterprise Florida also partners with local trade organizations in the host country to provide networking opportunities with the top companies in each sector.

Team Florida Trade Missions bring results. Since 1999 a total of 1,270 Florida Executives have participated in these initiatives, resulting in more than $700 million dollars in actual and expected sales for Florida companies. The overwhelming majority of this business was realized by small to medium size Florida firms.
