Florida economic development leaders to provide outlook for global economy

Event also to be forum for business growth tips, networking and exporting updates

 ORLANDO, FL (May 28, 2009) – If you want to know if or when the economy will revert to “normal” and where business growth opportunities may lie, answers await you at A Global Economic Forecast.

This seminar will be held July 8 from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. at the Disney Entrepreneur Center, located in downtown Orlando at 315 E. Robinson St. #100.  It will offer economic updates, trends and forecasts by:

• Manny Mencía, Enterprise Florida senior vice president overseeing its International Trade & Business Development division
• Z. Joe Kulenovic, Enterprise Florida senior director in its Marketing & Strategic Intelligence division
• Charles Jainarain, president, Greenheart Economics, a Florida-based trade advisory firm that conducts strategic planning and develops market intelligence for international clients.

These presenters will address time frame projections for an economic turnaround, exporting opportunities and strategic business positioning for successful results.  Also featured will be the Trade Resources Expo & Networking, an hourlong opportunity to meet local trade resource providers.

Registration and a $10 participation fee are due by July 3.  A light breakfast will be available.   Checks should be made payable to Florida District Export Council and mailed to FDEC c/o Enterprise Florida, 800 N. Magnolia Ave., Suite 1100, Orlando, FL  32803.
