Enterprise Florida expands global economic outlook seminar to Tampa
Launched July 8 in Orlando, seminar offers business growth tips, networking
and exporting updates.
ORLANDO, FL (September 9, 2009) – An early summer call for participation in the first Global Economic Forecast and Trade Resources Expo, held July 8 in Orlando, elicited 110 registrants from Central Florida, well more than expected. So, Enterprise Florida is taking its show on the road.
A stop in Tampa is scheduled for Thursday, September 24 from 8 – 11:30 a.m. at Tampa International Airport in the Hillsborough County Aviation Authority boardroom. (Main terminal, Level 3, near the blue Earhart elevators.) Short-term garage parking tickets will be validated.
This seminar/business forum overviews the current business climate amid the economic downturn and offers projections for a recovery time frame – or a return to “normal” for Florida. The discussion also includes trends, exporting opportunities and strategic business positioning for successful results. The Trade Resources Expo offers a venue for participants to network with their area trade service providers.
The presenters will be:
• Manny Mencía, Enterprise Florida senior vice president overseeing its International Trade & Business Development division
• Z. Joe Kulenovic, Enterprise Florida senior director in its Marketing & Strategic Intelligence division
• Charles Jainarain, president, Greenheart Economics, a Florida-based trade advisory firm that conducts strategic planning and develops market intelligence for international clients.
To register and pay a $10 participation fee -- the deadline for both is Monday, September 21 – visit the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Web site at www.tampachamber.com/, go to the Upcoming Events section and click “Global Economic Forecast.” Or, copy and paste this URL: http://events.tampachamber.com/sbaweb/events/events.asp?details=true&cale_id=1589&month=9/9/2009.
